I really want to be 299 lbs by 01.01.2019 but, at the rate I’m going, that isn’t going to happen. It’s time to step back and re-evaluate.
I got the exercise program set up for the next 3 months (12 week program) and there is roughly 14 weeks left in the year. I was at 321 lbs on Saturday, which means I need to lose 1.5 lbs per week and I should be able to do that but I gotta figure out what is going on.
I run through the first 6 months of 2018 like it was nothing…dropping 110 lbs and then BOOM…hit a damn wall and I’m barley around 10 lbs for the 3 months that followed that.
It’s time to get back to basics for the rest of the year- meat, veggies, light dairy and water. I gotta cut out the diet pop and snacks- I need to lower my fat a little and cut back on the sugar free candy, diet soda and calories.
I didn’t cheat this week but I went way over on y calories due to make “keto friendly” foods like cheddar biscuits and chocolate chip cookies- both amazing and do-able on Sharketo but too much of that stuff kills the weight loss. I’m also killing my 20/4 IF by snacking on nuts at night and that has to stop.
Time to get strict and start mastering My Fitness Pal and logging every bite I take; I’m slacking in several areas and I don’t have time to be screwing around.
I wanted to drop 150 lbs. this year and now I’m going to be struggling to hit 140 lbs. and that is OK…I’m fine with that- goals can be adjusted but if I don’t do something now, I’m not going to start 2019 in the 200’s and I can’t let that happen.
The other issue is that this is the HARDEST time to stay focused with all the candy flowing, huge meals coming up and those holiday exclusive things that only seem to come around this time of year.
Dropping 120 lbs so far hasn’t been easy and dropping that last 80 lbs is going to be a million times harder so it’s time to buckle down again.
The good news is that I’ve continue to lose each month…even as low as .4 lbs but it was still a loss. September is going to be another really small month as well and I’m OK with that too; I just really don’t want to see any gains for the month. I’m OK with gaining during the weeks but, at the end of the month, I need to be lower than I was at the start…at least until 2019.
Back 2 Basics is the only way to do this….Sharketo works and I know that…I think I’ve just strayed too far away from the basics and it’s time to return home.
