The weekend basically starts tomorrow and the urge to cheat usually kicks in around 5:30pm Friday night but I have NOT given up getting through the weekends and I won’t lay down without a fight.
So…introducing my new plan!!
I’m having a PICTURE THIS WEEKEND from March 22nd to March 24th.
I always have my phone on me and my phone has a kick ass camera- why not use it!
Starting in the morning, I’m going to take a picture of EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth (get your head out of the gutter!)
If something is zero calories and zero carbs- like water- then NO picture…however, everything else is getting a picture and if I decide to cheat- FINE- I’ll have a picture of all the shit to go back and remind myself.
I’m hoping this keeps me from cheating and helps me track what I’ve eaten and be mindful that, before I decide to down a package of Oreos, I’m going to have to take a picture of them AND post them for the world to see.
This may be stupid and may fail- like so many attempts from the past but I’m not giving up and I’m willing to try anything at this point.
SO….welcome to the first PICTURE THIS WEEKEND! If this works, I’ll probably do it for several weekends in a row to help make it a routine and then only use it when I cheat. I have to tell myself – “you want to cheat and screw up- FINE- make a record of your shame.”
