Long story short- we spend Sunday shopping in Louisville, KY and then swimming at Horseshoes Casino so we didn’t have a “In The Kitchen with Sharky and Jackie” this week but YOU still get a recipe- a super simple hot cocoa recipe for these cold ass days.
INGREDIENTS (makes 2 servings)
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp erythritol
½ c heavy whipping cream
2 c unsweetened original flavor almond milk (or chocolate almond milk)
1 tsp vanilla extract
We bring the heavy whipping cream and almond milk to a boil in a saucepan and throw everything together in the Ninja bullet thing and mix it all together- this also removes any cocoa lumps as well.
Pour into a coffee mug and use a little spray whipped cream on top- once it starts melting, you get the taste of marshmellow.
While this doesn’t take like your normal Swiss Miss- it has a little nutty flavor on that first sip that may throw you off a bit but once you hit your 2nd– it’s amazing and perfect for chilly nights!
