6 Month Journey

Time for a “wordy” update that so many people hate.

I had a doctor appointment yesterday and it was the first appointment of a new “weight loss program” that I have to do.

Unlike the last one, it was actually beneficial because it was with my normal doctor and it was in person.

My mental health is at an all time high- the year of trying new hobbies, focusing on happiness and living my best “sHarkYGGE” life has made an incredible difference.

I am going overboard on a few things though- I’m spending WAY too much money and I’m in a 2 month weight loss plateau of only losing about 5 lbs in 2 months.

From March 16th to September 15th is exactly 6 months and that just happens to be my son’s 20th birthday so I’m starting a new 6 month journey to try to build on the habits I’ve already made.

Today I was at 317 lbs. so I’m 72 lbs. from my overall goal of losing 200 lbs.

I plan to use this notebook to track weight loss, daily hobbies, daily spending and just sum up each day so I have more control over what I’m doing.

By September 15th- I want to be around 245-250 lbs. and have all of our major bills paid off- like the $5,000 basement fix that hit us, our recent vacation, new dryer and all the other stuff that we didn’t expect.

If I can build on the habits I’ve already created, then I can get some of this under more control, hit my goals and be in an amazing spot 6 months from now. I’ve already established so many great habits over the last year and I’m proud of how far I’ve come but I’ve slacked and it’s time to tighten up the belt.

(get it…because Sunday was New Hole Day- I’m so clever and handsome, it’s honestly scary).
