Dragon Age: Rook’s Coffer

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is literally one of my favorite games of all time. It’s a gorgeous game, I love the characters and I love the gameplay- I literally love it all.

I have taken my time playing it- just looking at the scenery, searching every single inch of the maps, listening to all of the conversations and petting every single cat I can.

I know many people hate it and most of those folks haven’t actually played it- they hate it because there are characters a bit different than they are- but that is another post entirely.

I love it so much that I bought the special collectors Rook’s Coffer collectible.

Let’s just throw it out there- 10/10!!!

This thing is so much more than I hoped for- if you are fan of this game, this is a MUST have.

The first thing is the size, you don’t realize just how big it is- and the box- the box is gorgeous! The box itself may be one of my favorite parts about it.

Most of the box is matte but the character squares and helmet are shiny so they just jump off of the box.

The inside of the box has a quote from Varric- not to sound too cringe but the quote is great when you put it towards weight loss.

It comes with a thank you letter from the developers and pictures one of my favorite characters- Manfred!!

The Lyrium Dagger is made of plastic but it feels great in your hand and the light is really bright and makes it look even more amazing. Also the fact that it belonged to Solas makes me love it that much more.

The potion flask is heavy glass and just looks really cool.

The dice is also heavy and really pretty and comes in it’s own little dice bag.

The Quiver Tube is very nice and a great map holder- the map is gorgeous and made of cloth.

I run a trading card charity- Commons4Kids -and as a life long card collector, one of the main reasons I got this was for the cards. The cards are high quality with incredible art work.

I mostly wanted THESE two cards- my two favorite characters from the game.

This set is truly amazing and a must have- I consider it one of my favorite pieces in my collection and would recommend it to anyone that likes the game- but if you love the game like I do- you can’t NOT have this!!!

Sharky: Cozy Gamer

I’ve played video games almost my entire life…well, 40 out of the 47 years that I’ve been here.

I’ve never been the “normal” gamer guy- I don’t care much for Skyrim and I’m currently playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve really tried to focus on doing things that make me happy, and it seems playing video games is a major part of that.

I’m playing more now than ever and I’m in a great place.

I’ve also decided to expand the types of games I play because games like Fortnite and Call of Duty just wasn’t bringing the happiness any longer.

I still play those games here and there, but I finally discovered he “cozy” area of gaming and I’ve falling in love with it!

Animal Crossing New Horizon’s really got me through the amazing year that was 2020- it was the perfect chill game that I needed to get me through the chaos.

Cozy games have been around since the 90s with games like Harvest Moon but the genre seems to be blowing up the last few years.

I’ve been researching some of the best “cozy” games to get into and I’ve realized that there is a lack of guys that look like me- big, old, gray beard, etc.

I’ve never been one of those guys worried about what others thing- I mean- I just started playing HKIA- remember?

I finally got a decent gaming laptop, finally got into what all the fuss was over Steam and I’m really enjoying it all!

I plan to dive into gaming much more because it’s also helping me with my weight loss journey to give me something else to obsess over- besides food.

I know that the gaming community is one of the most toxic places out there and I’m fine with that…I mean, one of my all-time favorite games is Dragon Age: The Veilguard and I know that just pissed most of you off.

I wanted SharkysWorld to focus on gaming and weight loss and it’s time to get into the gaming stuff. As for the weight loss, I’ve been using actions lately- I’m down 33 lbs. in a little less than 2 months so I may jump back into writing about that more as well; I was just tired of talking about it and not actually doing it.
