I Love Kuromi

Yesterday I found this Kuromi backpack with a lunch box type thing and some other stuff with it.

I love Kuromi, I love purple and black so I got it to carry my laptop, Switch 2, Ally X and craft stuff when we go on trips.

I was carrying it through Khols and this lady said “cute backpack” or something like that and I said “thanks!”.

She probably thought she was making a friendly joke at the 48 year old white bearded guy carrying it and she probably didn’t realize my comment wasn’t sarcasm but a factual statement.

Characters and colors are made up- just like clothing- and f those who want to place an age or sex on them.

We see purple when the eye’s long-wavelength (red) and short-wavelength (blue) cones are stimulated simultaneously. Since the red and blue wavelengths sit at opposite ends of the visible spectrum, the brain bends the linear spectrum into a circle and “invents” purple to bridge the gap and then someone came up with the words purple to represent that color.

Some idiot in the past figured wavelengths being stimulated simultaneously sounds like something feminine so we’ll say purple is a girl color!

As a man, can I not like purple? Can I not like a fictional character that’s bad ass, into supernatural stuff like ghost and tarot cards?

Kuromi is a character for kids? You let your kids watch a rabbit who reads tarot cards and uses a crystal ball? That’s pretty woke of you.

You ever wonder why some folks get so angry when a guy wears a dress?

I do.

Who determined which sex can wear which clothing items?

And it’s always against males. It’s fashion when a girl wears a suit, no issues with girls wearing pants but a dude in a dress is a stop in your track moment.

It’s amazing how so many people still live based on what people hundreds of years ago decided and let’s not mention the hate that exists today based on ignorance from thousands of years ago. Following decisions made by people who thought thunder were gods getting angry while ignoring actual scientific facts from today is insane.

So to that lady- it IS a cute backpack, which is why I bought it. I also got the cute Kuromi figure as well.

I also like kawaii things, and ….so? I guess if the cartoon doesn’t involve guns, turning into a robot or violence it’s not manly enough…lol.
