Pokopia

Ladies and gentlemen- my honest review of the new game- Pokopia.

I honestly hate the way my mind works- I go “all in” on something and then move to the next thing and completely abandon the previous…but I don’t want to!

Right now, my entire life is engulfed with Pokopia- the game I wasn’t going to buy because it looked “plain” and “too simple” is actually massive, gorgeous, complex and time consuming because I don’t want to rush through it- I’m taking my time and taking it all in and feeling the feels.

Thankfully Miniverse has calmed down with new releases, so I’m caught up on what I want there.

I have a closet full of mini houses/rooms to work on, a box of projects behind my chair to work on. I have a half-done diamond art project on the kitchen table that I work on a bit each day. I have an entire workshop of things to build and create. I have a new mini saw that I have yet to use with tons of wood and millions of ideas. 2 massive stacks of coloring books with every Ohuhu marker known to man neatly sorted by my chair.

I have a backlog of games that would take me 50 years to complete- yet will buy more in today’s massive Spring Steam sale! To completely purchase my full Steam wishlist would be $565.

I took the time to get SharkysWorld.com up to date but I want to post stuff daily here because I enjoy it.

I’m sure no one really cares about these first world problems, but they are turning my new cozy lifestyle into stress because I can’t do it all, yet I’ve always been the “all in” guy- just look at my Kuromi collection. I’m fitting 20 years of collectibles into a year of buying.

I turn everything into chaos…even coziness.

All of that doesn’t matter- I’ll get home after work, get me a drink and go back into my Pokopia Villages because my Pokeman need me to restore their happiness which means I don’t have much to share.

Do you guys care that I made Piplup the shower that he wanted? Do you care that I have a giant Snorlax covered in moss from sleeping too long or a white Pikachu (due to using all of his electricity) that needs my help?

And that is my review for Pokopia….it’s good enough to force to me drop everything I’ve fallen in love with over the last year, it’s like Pokecrack. It honestly puts Animal Crossing to shame and that is saying A LOT.

You don’t need to know about the mechanics or FPS rate- you just need to know that it’s amazing enough for you to get lost in for hours and forget that anything else exists in this world PUT Pokopia.

And in the situation the world is in today- isn’t that what we all need?

Life is short.
Do what you enjoy.
